White Pillars Museum/De Pere Historical Society

White Pillars Museum/De Pere Historical Society In 1969, at the urging of the late Fr. Anselm M. Keefe, O. Praem., Mayor John Growt and the City Council recommended to the De Pere Chamber of Commerce that a historical society be formed. White Pillars Museum is the home of the De Pere Historical Society, and it houses the Society’s archival and artifact collections. Built by the Fox River Hydraulic Company in 1836, White Pillars is an excellent example of Greek revival architecture.
